Rachel Vanderhill

Rachel Vanderhill is an associate professor of Government and International Affairs and coordinator of the International Affairs program at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Her research has focused on questions related to authoritarian persistence, the international dimension of regime change, and the politics of postcommunist states. Recent publications include: Promoting Authoritarianism Abroadand Rachel Vanderhill and Michael Aleprete Jr., eds. The International Dimensions of Authoritarian Persistence: Lessons from Post-Soviet States. In addition, she has published articles in the journals Demokratizatsiya, Europe-Asia Studies, and Communist and Post-Communist Studies.
