Anesu Masakura
Anesu is a first-year Master of Public Administration candidate focusing on Development Practice, Social Innovation, and Data Analysis. Before SIPA, Anesu provided technical assistance to the Zimbabwean government on maximizing diaspora engagement in national development through UN Migration. He also co-designed several social impact programs and fundraised millions of dollars to empower underserved communities across Minnesota. Currently, he works at the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment, where he conducts research and analysis on responsible land-based investments to support the Center's work with governments and NGOs in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Anesu earned a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Carleton College.
