Spring 2018 Cordier/GPPN Student Essay Contests Are Now Open
The Journal of International Affairs is is seeking submissions for the Spring 2018 Cordier/GPPN Student Essay Contest for the coming issue. Selected essays will be published in the Spring 2018 issue. Submissions are welcome on the following topics, or on a topic related to the main theme, Ungoverned Spaces:
Call for Papers: Digital Technology and the Attack on Liberal Democratic Norms
The Journal of International Affairs is accepting submissions of up to 2,500 words for its special issue titled “Contentious Narratives: Digital Technology and the Attack on Liberal Democratic Norms.” The deadline is April 1, 2018.
Fall 2017 Cordier/GPPN Contest Submissions Are Now Open
The Journal of International Affairs is seeking submissions for the Fall/Winter 2017 Cordier/GPPN Student Essay Contest for the upcoming Democracy issue. Authors will receive $500 for winning submissions. The deadline is November 29, 2017, 11:59pm EST. Interested authors can learn more and submit here.
Call for Papers: The Democracy Issue
In anticipation of its upcoming issue, the Journal of International Affairs is sponsoring a call for papers on the state of democracies and governance trends around the world.
The Journal of International Affairs is a leading peer-reviewed journal published by the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. The issue will focus on the growing influence of authoritarian regimes in the international order coupled with a weakening of democratic values in the West.
