The Journal of International Affairs is pleased to announce that Ana-Constantina Kolb is this year’s winner of the Global Public Policy Network (GPPN) Essay Contest. Ana-Constantina Kolb is a German-Honduran graduate student in Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Her essay analyzes how transnational organized crime in Central America has gripped Honduras, and provides policy suggestions to mitigate its effect.
The Journal Editorial Board extends congratulations to Ana-Constantina for her hard work. Her article will appear alongside notable scholars in the Fall/Winter issue of the Journal on transnational organized crime. With the addition of several schools in Europe, South America, and Asia to the GPPN network, this year’s GPPN contest was particularly competitive.
